Johnson Family Heritage
5 generations of my husbands family, beginning with John Johnson and ending with DH :) John Johnson served in the confederate army and was a POW, The census report of 1960 shows him living in Walton Co. Georgia with his wife Mary. His son William moved from Georgia to Oklahoma and had 11 children. William's son Henry married Alma Esta Ellis and worked for the Rock Island Railroad. Upon his death the family home place was donated to the town of Pond Creek and is now the Johnson Park. Henry's son Clyde married Dora Lou Tullis and served in the military for 21 yrs and then the FAA for 20 years. Clyde's son Robert is my DH and the most wonderful husband on earth :) LOL!

I drew this flag and wrote everything 3 times before I was even halfway satisfied with it, still not completely happy, I can see where my fingers were cramping LOL! This LO contains the preamble the to constitution, the pledge of allegiance, America The Beautiful, The star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, My Country Tis Of Thee, Grand Old Flag, Proud To Be An American and excerpt from the Declaration of Independence.
This is my Father in law Clyde Johnson. He fought in the European, African and Pacific theaters during WWII, receiving two purple hearts among many other medals.
He served in Korea during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Air Force with the rank of Chief Master Sargent after serving his country for 21 years. To him and all the American soldiers who have and are serving their country, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart! I owe you a debt that can never be repaid!
